Welcome to the University of Houston Virtual Theatre Troupes!

This website is a collection of lesson plans and videos created by BFA Theatre Education students at UH as a part of two after-school theatre programs. The first of which is Lantrip Players, an elementary school troupe partnered with Lantrip Elementary. The second troupe is interACTING, a middle school troupe partnered with both McReynolds Middle School and Baylor College of Medicine Academy at Ryan.

The purpose of these troupes is to introduce the fundamentals of theatre to students who have no theatre program at their school. All lesson plans are created and taught by the BFA Theatre Education students.

This year, the troupes have transitioned to virtual learning as a result of COVID-19. This website was created as a result to share our work and provide resources to teachers seeking resources for online learning.
